PowerPhotonic has launched a new website platform at its existing web address www.powerphotonic.com. The website not only unveils the company’s new branding, but also reflects its position as the world-leader in the design and manufacture of precision, freeform, wafer-scale optics.

The product menu of the new PowerPhotonic website lists single mode beam shapers, multimode beam shapers, refractive diffusers, collimation optics, rapid prototyping (using LightForge™) and beam combining, with all relevant documentation. The applications covered comprise laser material processing, including laser cutting, welding, additive manufacture, precision micromachining and thin film processing; defence, with coherent beam combining; medical, covering both tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation; and cinema, laser projection. Optical calculation tools are also provided to help customers, including a lens calculator, spot size calculator and beam shaper quality calculator. As a rapidly expanding, international company, the UK and North American manufacturing facilities are listed, alongside the Japanese office and international distribution channels.
